The extension and refurbishment of a Victorian house
The project extended and refurbished a Victorian house in Wandsworth to create a large living and dining space at the ground floor and a new master bedroom with ensuite at the loft level.
The ground floor extension is deep in plan, taking advantage of the new 6m extension rules under permitted development rights. To deal with the depth of plan it was proposed to create two north light apexes bringing light deep in to the plan.
