In response to the Holt Parish Council’s need for an improved bus stop, Mitchell Eley Gould have delivered a uniquely crafted shelter, designed to reflect the heritage of the village, its site and situation.
The architectural proposal reflects the associated housing and commercial development, using materials that draw from the industrial heritage of the village. The resulting scheme seeks to identify a key focal point for the meeting and wayfinding, expressed in the oversized roof and warm interior materiality.
