Its all about outdoor living in all weathers and all times of the day in this project
The original house had dark cellular rooms to the ground floor which we have transformed to offer a more modern living arrangement. Works include a traditionally designed front drawing room and hallway with a new contemporary social kitchen and dining with family snug space connecting seamlessly to the covered outdoor living area which houses a new outdoor kitchen as well as space for seating and dining.
To the side we have added a large utility room, side access and GF WC. The outdoor kitchen was carefully designed to appear as an extrusion to the main indoor kitchen with the worktop continuing on from the inside. Other features include a cedar clad soffit to the covered outdoor living area with painted exposed structural members, use of over sized slim framed sliding doors to connect the inside to the outside and a large rooflight to bring the light into the space.
Our clients love the outdoor living area and in the spring, summer and autumn months spend mostly outside. This truly is a house for all weathers.
