Refurbishment and extension at ground floor level of a Grade II-listed cottage within a conservation area in Bury St Edmunds.
The project was to extend and restore a dilapidated Grade II-listed house that had fallen into a state of disrepair.
There was a need for a large new space that would open up the house and create a more generous kitchen and living area, whilst also reconnecting the house with the garden, which had been cut-off by an ill-planned previous extension.
