An garden room designed as an office space
The practice was approached by our private client in 2013 who had recently bought a house on a development site previously designed by the firm. The client wished to build an office as a stand alone garden room.
The site for the garden room was a triangular piece of the garden which dictated the overall shape and siting of the garden room.
The exterior was to have a modern appearance to mirror those of the new house, whilst being robust to minimise long term maintenance.
The interior was to be relatively simple providing office space with a small kitchenette and shower room
