Grade II listed first floor mezzanine apartment in a 19th-century building overlooking Hyde Park
The apartment was initially a series of box rooms with lowered ceilings.
A mezzanine floor was installed with connecting ‘corridor rooms’ to provide a dressing room, en-suite bathroom, shower room and a library with handmade oak shelving.
Materials were handmade or hand-sourced including wall paints hand-mixed to match the original, all oak cabinetry and vanity tops, and the reclaimed Carrarra marble fire surround.
All joinery was built off site as separate elements and assembled on site due to the constrictions of the apartment entrance.
Storage was configured to allow hanging space of various heights and drawer systems.
