Redevelopment and extension to a house in London with the addition of an annex in the rear garden
A large house in Bayswater, London has been refurbished and extended to create a family home incorporating an Annex in the rear garden, with independent access from the mews, to the rear.
The aim was to renew and extend the existing accommodation to suit the needs of clients with a large family and regular visitors and to allow the house to enjoy more fully the Southerly aspect and relationship with the garden to the rear.
The brief was to break away from the pokey nature of the existing house and create large flexible spaces so that the changing needs of the occupants could be met over time and provide a robust, low maintenance home.
