Brosh Architects Studio
Brosh Architects required an additional office space for expansion of the office.
After a long search for rental space in central London, Lior decided to invest in building the Brosh Architects studio at the far end of the garden, using the cost of monthly office rental and commuting expenses. The design was shaped by the irregular garden layout, accommodating a working office, a guest room with an ensuite, and garden storage. Initially, the full-length cantilever roof was not part of the plan, but after a visit to upstate New York, where he saw inviting covered front porches with hanging benches, Lior integrated this feature into the design. The structure consists of blockwork walls and a timber roof, clad in black fibre-cement panels. Inside, the space is intentionally minimal, using only concrete flooring and birch ply walls and ceilings to create a warm yet functional work environment, especially during dark winter days.
