Construction of a contemporary house extension in the Brockley Conservation Area.
The project responds to the sloping site with a finely detailed brick and glass extension that connects the existing period property to the rear garden. Visual connection to the external courtyards and garden are key to the success of the project, along with the embracing of natural light as it changes throughout the day. The design embraces the sloping site with a split level kitchen to maximise ceiling heights and create a sense of drama as you enter the kitchen.
