A Room for an Opera Singer
FAB Architects, London, 2021
A multi-use studio space at the rear of a carefully curated garden, referencing galleries, stage curtains and balconies found in traditional opera theatres and combining them with high quality modern materials.
Taking cues from the client’s background in opera, the space becomes part rehearsal studio, part office and part entertaining space; seeking to bring joy, light and a playful edge to all of those activities.
