‘136 RA’ is a three storey Edwardian semi detached house located in Chiswick, West London, falling within the London Borough of Ealing
The project included a full house refurbishment, internal reconfiguration and three stories of contemporary interventions, including side return, first floor extrusion and outrigger extensions. This project pushes the boundaries of the conventional side infill and outrigger concepts, to provide a unique series of architectural interventions across three stories. The use of a simple palette of natural materials with glass as a design component allows for cohesion of the overall design, whilst flooding the internal spaces with natural light and allowing green, sky and urban views from within.
