A contemporary pavilion extension, in the garden of a Grade II-listed farmhouse dating back to the 16th Century, achieves open-plan living in a new kitchen-dining space with a direct connection to its landscape setting

The modern addition to the fabric of the farmhouse extends the earthy colour palette with a bronzed floating roof structure sitting atop a bespoke window system of glazed panels interlaced with bronze mesh.

Views from the new accommodation are opened up through the carefully detailed slim framed sliding door system, blurring the distinction between inside and out, and allowing the garden to flow into the new heart of this historic home.
