Open-plan 1,000 seat conference and events centre above a 1,500 capacity general admissions stand
The purpose built venue is one of the largest in the city. The principle space, which incorporates a mezzanine bar, has versatility to be split into four 250-seat spaces, each served by their own bar and catering pod (seven configurations in all).
The columnless open-plan design allows constant views out of the 7.5 metre high panoramic glazed screen that runs the full length of the building. A balcony that protrudes 2.5 metres allows spectators to stand outside and view the match.
The hospitality box floats above a 1,500 seat general admission stand below giving it an undisturbed view to the city and Pennine area.
The venue is equipped with many environmental features such as rainwater harvesting, solar collectors/hot water panels and low energy lighting systems earning it a Gold rating in the Green Business Tourism scheme.
