The project is a series of interventions on a 1980s mews house for a family in west London.
These minor amendments include extending to the rear and on the roof, changing floor levels and reconfiguring parts of the plan. Frame elements in hardwood are introduced as a common language for the structural and spatial intervention, taking several guises in the process - roofs, screens, porches. The main living area gains a scale and unadorned dignity previously missing in the typology, opening up to a small patio in the back.
