The flat is extremely compact, and the challenge was to design a modern studio living space with the flexibility to live, sleep and eat in the same room, but use a division of joinery and moveable walls and materials to open and close off the space.
The studio flat is located in a Historic building on Hallam Street in London. The build was challenging due to the tight working space, being located on the 7th floor and also offering very little access for deliveries. We have achieved a great deal in a small space and the light tones and simple design creates a feeling of open space living in a very small studio flat.
