A museum dedicated to the Eurasia Tunnel
Eurasia Tunnel Museum is conceived to convey to the public the achievement of this two-level sub-sea car tunnel, connecting two continents, Europe and Asia under the Bosphorus sea-strait.
Designed as a combination of traditional museum with exhibits in showcases and cutting edge multimedia experiences (including dynamic wall projections, digital mapping on a physical model, round touch table and virtual reality glasses), the information provided answers the basic questions that visitors may have about the project.
The visitor’s path follows the metal perimeter counter with inserted showcases and touch screens. At eye height graphics with text is provided, whereas higher above an ever changing projection of images compliments it. All showcases are treated as jewellery boxes – with rich colour backgrounds.
The small space is organised to facilitate visitors’ understanding of the content, by creating main views, quiet bays and points of interest.
