A landmark project in the new cultural quarter Norway’s Bodø, the scheme comprises two buildings - 6,300m² library and an 11,200m² three-auditorium concert hall.
Both buildings, known together as the Stormen [the Tempest], are clad in pre-cast concrete using locally-sourced white stone.
The concert hall consists of three venues, including a 944-seat main auditorium, a second 260-seat auditorium and a music venue with a capacity for 460 people.
The neighbouring, three-level library includes a flexible performance space, gallery, multifunction room and cafe.
