Family house with equilateral triangles repeating throughout the plan
The house is divided into two wings to optimize surrounding views and the sun path.
One wing consists of double height living spaces with bedrooms above while office, utility and nanny accommodation are provided below. The other wing contains a gymnasium and swimming pool that faces a sunken court space outside.
The court leads to an expanse of lawn, which runs to the boundary and golf course beyond.
The mostly glazed façade provides views onto the surroundings while the interior white walls reflect light into the house.
Energy saving systems employed in the house include solar heating, ground source heat pumps and thermal storage within the fair-faced concrete structure.
