Aligned floor levels and a feature wall link the spaces together

Rear extension to a terraced property, providing extra kitchen and dining space, and increasing natural light
The garden was included as an integral part of the project, and has been treated as an extension of the interior. Various architectural devices were employed to dissolve the internal and external relationship: uninterrupted full-height glazing, aligned floor levels, and a distinctive pink feature wall that extends into the garden.
The upstairs of the extension has also been reconfigured to create an enlarged bathroom. Previously organised as a bathroom and separate WC, these two small rooms were opened up into a single, large family bathroom, creating the space to provide a spacious walk-in shower in addition to the bath.
