Two timber Viewpoints and one Nature Hide have been designed and built by Emanuel Hendry for Forestry England

The project was a national open design and build competition won by EmanuelHendry ltd. UK grown untreated Larch was used to create these monolithic timber frame structures at Haldon woods near Exeter Devon. The structures were manufactured off site and installed in a short period in spring 2019. Chestnut piling was used for foundations to minimise the impact on the delicate forest ecology avoiding concrete and steel in the footings.
