Two storey primary school for 400 pupils, with internal and external flexible teaching spaces

The two storey building provides visibility on the street level and a presence within the local community.

Pupils access the building through dedicated entrances for each year group to minimise the amount of travel once inside the building. The reception classrooms and playgroup are located close to the drop off area.

The School features a range of teaching, multi-use and community rooms, in addition to an ICT suite and a dedicated music room within two separate wings. The social areas face southwest, away from the adjacent housing towards views across the Tyne Valley.

The scheme which includes a biomass boiler achieved a BREEAM very good rating.
