New secondary school and community facility consisting of six wings linked by a central spine
Adjacent to Saltaire World heritage site, the new 1,520-student secondary school provides a 21st-century teaching and learning environment in line with the local authority's aspirations to transform education in the district.
It is sited to both respect its surroundings and encourage wider community use of its facilities. Faculty departments are consolidated into visually distinct wings, organised and linked by an Academic Street to provide strong connectivity and wayfinding, as well as a strong sense of faculty identity.
