A refurbishment of a small semi-detached house located in Hampstead Garden Suburb London

This small three-bedroom cottage-style house was a challenging project to meet the client's needs.

The client requirement was to increase the floor area and due to planning restrictions in the Hampstead Garden Suburb area this had to be done by using the existing floor area to provide the additional space.

The head room restriction created an interesting special area of the staircase to the loft area while the use of mirror and glass has created an illusion within the circulation area.

The shower room was precisely designed to create an interesting yet usable space
Every corner of the house was used to accommodate storage area within this small cottage.

A further client requirement was to view the kitchen area from second floor and this resulted in a glazed landing.
