Specialist manufacturer of bespoke timber windows and doors in period and contemporary designs. With 60 years experience the company continues to provide top quality products across the UK and worldwide from its Essex factories

Mumford & Wood's Conservation™ range includes sash windows, casements, French doorsets, bi-fold doors and entrance doors, which combine modern day performance with period sightlines and elegant mouldings. They are recognised for heritage renovation and period-style new build projects.

High performance, bespoke products by Mumford & Wood are factory finished and double glazed and achieve BSI ‘A’ energy ratings, depending on specification, with an overall frame U-value of 1.3 W/m².K. This is expected to surpass the requirements of new Part L Building Regulations, Spring 2014. Many features, including choice of glazing, high security locking systems and attractive hardware, come as standard. All products are made in the UK from sustainably sourced engineered timber for stability, durability and a naturally long life. Products are CE compliant, have the BSI Kitemark and Energy Saving Trust accreditations, and many are Secured by Design. Mumford & Wood products are made to the British Woodworking Federation’s Timber Window Accreditation Scheme and are independently tested.

Recent enhancements to the Conservation™ range include a wider range of glass unit sizes including the introduction of the 12mm double glazed panel Conservation™ Box Sash Window. Mumford & Wood have also introduced internal glazing for enhanced security and improved aesthetics. Single glazed products are also available for sensitive heritage projects.

Mumford & Wood is now exhibiting in the Products Gallery at The Building Centre, Store Street, London. Here visitors will find a selection of the company’s most popular products in the Conservation™ range from sliding sash and casement windows, to entrance doors, French doorsets and sliding patio doors. Customers can also call the Mumford & Wood Sales Team who will be happy to meet at The Building Centre to personally talk through the products on display or meet at the Essex showroom.
