Office block as part of a redevelopment of five buildings on the Crown Estates site in the St James’s and Regent Street Conservation Areas
To build the 11,500m2 office a building at the corner of Piccadilly and Eagle Place has been demolished; 212-214 Piccadilly has been demolished and redeveloped, with 3-4 Eagle Place and 18-21 Jermyn Street developed behind a retained facade. 27 Regent Street has been retained and internally remodelled and now contains luxury apartments designed by the practice.
The buildings contain ground floor retail frontages with six-stories of optimised office space above.
The central block includes a façade in ceramic utilizing the sculptural and cast qualities of clay and polychromatic glazes.
Overall the building achieved a BREEAM Excellent rating.
