Refurbishment and refit of Holland’s national museum and gallery
The 10-year refurbishment has removed later additions to Pierre Cuypers’ original Gothic building to restore the original plan and circulation of the museum.
Along with upgrading and restoring the museum's main gallery spaces, new main and service entrances have been created and modern facilities including a restaurant, shop, auditorium, restored library and education spaces have been built. Outside the building there is a new exhibition space and garden along with a separate building for the conservation of the collection.
