Internal & external alterations and refurbishment of existing semi-detached villa in the Polloksheilds Conservation Area, Glasgow
A contemporary silicon jointed frameless glass lantern forms the connection between what was the existing kitchen and dining room to form an new open plan kitchen dining space. Externally, the use of the glass structure forms a subtle connection between the existing single storey out-building and the two storey villa. A new access to the rear garden was formed via new French doors from the new kitchen. The brief also required the formation of a small utility space off of the new kitchen.
