Mixed use public building that includes a primary school, nursery, church, flexible office space and an external multi-use games area and football pitch

The two storey structure, which is finished in red brick and white render, is roughly divided into two with the school placed to the east and the civic functions to the west.

The school is arranged around a double height hall with a raised light well, in the centre of the buildings plan. A single corridor wraps the perimeter of the hall providing circulation to the surrounding classrooms and on the first floor views of the hall.

The schools internal spaces have been designed to be flexible and adaptable, allowing them to be used by the community after school hours.

The civic facilities are accessed from a public square to the west of the building. A foyer cafe, exhibition space, church and community hall are placed on the ground floor, with the first floor devided between the school with library and ICT facilities, and a private office.
