Low spreading country house with accomodation placed on the first floor for panoramic views across surrounding countryside

The residence has a hexagonal plan with each corner framing a panoramic view across the surrounding grounds.

The house is approached via a long private drive, which leads to the ground floor that contains entrance points, a garage, covered terraces, farm office, laundry and storage spaces. A central staircase provides access to the main first-floor accommodation, which extends out from the ground floor to maximise the viewing positions.

Rooms are located according to the quality of light they require, with bedrooms facing east for morning sun, the sun room facing south for the strongest and longest sun, the living room facing south west for the richest view, the dining room west and north for evening sun and the staff flat faces west for evening sun. All bathrooms are internal and lit from the top.

The building has a generous use of power-operated equipment, with electrical windows and remote control louvre blinds and electric under-floor heating on both floors.
