A wine shop that takes a fresh approach to displaying its wine with a bespoke modular storage shelving system

A modular storage shelving system allows each individual component to create both storage and display. These repeated unit form storage walls, lining the shop. Concealed LEDs pick out the bottle labels from the dark matt shelving.

Lack of space meant a whole case of wine needed to be stored at each display point.

A large, white table for the till and for tasting is situated in the centre of the shop. The whiteness of the table-top provides an important backdrop for testing the colour of the wines, and along with the LED lighting, provides a sense of relief to the dark interior and shelving.
